Bob, tell me a little about Pro*Act.

Love to! Pro*Act has been around for over 25 years and we are the leading distributor of fresh produce to the foodservice and retail industries. Our sweet spot is supply chain management, bringing the highest quality produce; sourced from grower/shippers throughout North America to over 70 US/Canada distributor partners in one easy step. Thanks to you guys, we also have a great Human Resources plan!

How big is Pro*Act?

Tell me a bit about your leadership structure and challenges.

Like any growing organization, communication is critical. Recently, our Senior Leadership Team underwent The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ facilitated training that you led for our group. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this was. “Delivering pinpoint results” to our customers is our rally cry… and we discovered that to deliver on that promise, we must have a strong leadership foundation and consistent, cohesive communication. The results of this training were immediately evident. Our leadership now has a strong understanding of different team dynamics and how to build constructive communication & behavior changes into our plan.

You’ve worked with People & Performance Strategies for a few years now – what’s your overall impression of the services we offer?

Since 2012, our entire team has completed multiple Everything DiSC® modules with PPStrat and we have put the skills we have learned into practice every day. And, of course, having such a strong Human Resources Partner – as we do in you – ensures we stay focused on the most important part of our business: our people. I think you are invaluable!
